A.A large number of them are killed by poachers (偷猎者) because its wool is the most expensive in the world. In the 1990s the Chinese government began to take an active part in protecting them in the Hoh Xil Nature Reserve — the huge national park on the Qinghai­Tibetan Plateau.

B.It's a kind of animal with large horns (角), and used to be common in China long ago. But during the Qing Dynasty (朝代), it disappeared from China. Fortunately, it came back to China in 1985 under the effort of China and Britain.

C.The animal whose habitat is in Sichuan, China, is the  symbol of the World Wide Fund for Nature.

D.It lives in the forests of southern China. Due to habitat loss caused by deforestation, and hunting by human poachers, it is considered to be a critically endangered species.
