1．though与 although同义，一般情况下可以互换。只是though较普通，常用于非正式的口语和书面语中，而although较正式。另外，although语气比though强，常用于强调让步概念。
2．though可以和even构成词组even though，意为“即使；虽然”。
even though与even if同义，而although无此用法。
We'll make a trip even though the weather is bad.
即使天气不好，我们还是会去旅行。
Even though I fail, I'll keep on trying.
即便失败了，我仍会继续尝试。
3．though可单独作副词，常放在句末，与all the same(还是；仍然)或however(可是；然而)同义，而although无此用法。

4．当though/although引导让步状语从句时，不能和but连用，
但可以和yet或still连用。
